3 months after I had my son Harrison we moved to Brisbane Australia. Yeah, crazy I know. I didn’t do makeup for about 7-8 months before this shoot. this was my first in Australia. Lucky I met Callie (photographer) she has pulled me out of my makeup rut and helped put me on the Brisbane scene.

Here are some picture from my daze at MAC Houston. I really do miss it. I think about going back all the time.
Blue Mambo hair salon, my home away from home. There are to many heart filled cheesy things to say about this place. I wont bore you with them. Lets just say I am blessed to have come in contact with such a mecca of amazingness. Not only truly awesome hairstylist fill these rooms but their personalities are what make anyone who visits here come back over and over again. Ronnie Anderson and Julie Deal own this heaven (and are both rad hairstylist). I love them both dearly. I always say if I were a 50 year old scottish man I would be no one other than Ronnie Anderson. He is such an amazing spirit that bald men pay $35 dollars to sit for 30 minutes in his chair just to get a chance to visit with him (and they tip too!).
Every once and a while Ronnie pulls out his million year old camera equipment and sets up to take some good ol’ hair magazine pictures. Using different stylist that work at the salon for hair, some randoms to model and either Eduardo or myself for makeup, we bunker down for a long Sunday afternoon photo shoot. Here are just a few I have been able to find from then. I think the last one I did was a good 2 years ago? Sorry about the quality of the pictures, they were hard copies I scaned on to my computer.
PS. If you get a chance to drop buy or even better yet, make an appointment with one of the skilled hair artist there you wont be disappointed.
